Langkawi - Where We Stayed

Upon arriving in Langkawi (6-May-2011), we rented a MPV and drove to The Frangipani Langkawi Resort and Spa...

All packed in the Toyota Innova we rented... Daddy drove, Mommy navigated (also assisted by GPS) and everyone else in eager anticipation of where we would stay (or visit) for the 3 days and 2 nights in Langkawi...

The driveway to the resort was lined up with many frangipani trees...

As we approached the main lobby, we were greeted with a tremendous beautiful bougainvilla in full bloom... Wow!

The lobby...

Outside the lobby...

The path to our rooms... There were double-storey-like houses along the path. Each 'house' has 4 rooms. There were 2 rooms upstairs and 2 rooms downstairs. We occupied 3 rooms in one of these houses and the 4th room was in another house 'next door'...

A map...

Checking out one of the rooms upstairs...

Changing/make-up area and access to the next room...

The next room upstairs... (Ku-cheh already happily settling in on the cosy bed)...

The balcony... overlooking the frangipani and fruits trees, including the mango, water-apple and starfruit trees. We were told that we could pick the fruits to eat if we like...

This was where my parents and I stayed...

Our room was downstairs, next door... All rooms have air-conditioning but only the rooms downstairs have fans...

Our cosy room... (I was busy with my new Dora sticker and colouring book which Mommy bought just before our trip)...

Clean and nice...

The toilet was meticulously clean too...

Toiletries...

Awesome pools and an amazing beach!!

The resort has bungalow-like rooms and a splendid sea-water pool too!

After checking-in to our rooms and pacing around the resort a little while, we got into the MPV again and headed to the Kuah town for lunch and some shopping!
