Macaroni Cheese with Broccoli

I Can Stand Up Without Support

I am learning how to stand up without holding on to anything. I can stand up for about 3-5 seconds without any support before I get excited and fall on my bum-bum. My record is about 10 seconds.

I Tried to Use the Spoon

Whenever Mommy feed me, I will try to grab the spoon. So finally, Mommy let me try using the spoon...

A Mystery

Mommy realised that I was without my long pants after picking me up from my bed this morning. They were all crumpled at one corner. How I took them off is still a mystery... hehe...

Little Giraffe

Ku-Cheh bought it for me from the McDonald's. :) I actually don't like wearing headbands, this was off my head as soon as it was placed on me. But I know I'd looked cute with it...

I Understand Few Words

I can understand a few words. For example, when Daddy asked me where is my chuit-chuit, I would search for it... under the pillow or under the sofa or whever I last left it.

Also, when Mommy asked me where is Humpty Dumpty's bow tie, I could point to the picture of the red bow tie in the book. Daddy and Mommy were surprised (the night before when I first showed them) that I remembered as Mommy only showed me once...

Bumps and Blueblacks

I have been so careless as I endeavour to learn how to walk. I like to pull myself up to stand and then let go! Especially when I am on the big bed...



Last Saturday, I was sleeping with Mommy and Daddy. When Mommy woke up early to go to the toilet, I quietly climbed over the pillows and... BUMP!! I fell off the bed with a loud thud. I screamed my lungs out. Daddy and Mommy rushed to rescue me but too late, I have a big bump on my head now.

That Saturday was not my day. I bumped my head 3 times. I knocked my head against the table when I forgot to hold on. After the 2nd time, I was not in a good mood already. When we were at Uncle William's house for his farewell gathering, I knocked my head there too and then I was inconsolable... so much so that Daddy and Mommy had to leave early.

I have a blueblack on the right side of my head (near my eye) and a bump on top of my head. Sob!

Mommy felt the bump only yesterday. But I was in better spirit yesterday when we attended Aunty Lee Lee's wedding in the afternoon. I behaved and enjoyed the rice and music. There, I met Mommy's old schoolmates too. After the wedding, I showed off my skills to Poh-poh (standing, singing, clapping, climbing up the steps, etc.) She was thrilled.

That night, I fell backwards and knocked my head (again!) against the tv cabinet behind me. I was playing with the strawberry-shaped pillow and holding it so high up until I lost my balance and fell.

What a bumpy weekend!

Anyway, this morning, the swell seemed to have reduced and the blueblack spot has faded slightly. Daddy and Mommy are a bit relieved but still very concern.

I Can Sleep Sitting

I was very tired but refused to let Mommy pat me to sleep. So she let me sit and play with her mobile phone (my favourite thing!). After a while, I fell asleep sitting...

The Gate

Aww, Mommy... now I can't climb the stairs anymore...

My First Taste of Bananas

I had my first taste of bananas when Mommy made oats with bananas for me today. I like it!

My New Toys

Mommy bought these for me at Tesco. As I was always interested in mobile phones and building blocks, Mommy thought these may interest me.




Unfortunately, the toy mobile phone failed to function only after just a few days (because I love throwing it about as I do with Mommy's phone).


I like breaking apart those blocks Mommy helped put together and playing with those blocks with wheels...

I Love Reading

I love picture books. Today when Mommy came to take me home from Mah-mah's house where I spent the day (Mommy still needed a break sometimes from taking care of me full-time), I quickly reached for my book to 'read' it. :)

My New AIO Cloth Diapers

These all-in-one cloth diapers arrived for me yesterday. I received 1 one-size 'bella bottoms' (with hippo prints) and 2 'freshbots' size-L (1 with bears prints and 1 with giraffe prints)...

I love the cute colourful prints on this one (the 'hippo' bella bottoms)... but it gets wet through pretty quick if no soaker was placed in it. Otherwise, it is quite comfy.

As for the freshbots, they are nice too. They are just a little big for me now. A soaker comes with it. So it doesn't get wet through that quickly. They are also easy to wash (simply throw them in the washing machine) but take a longer time to dry...

I Am ONE Today!

Here's what I did today:

and got away with it... Well, I didn't make a big mess anyway...

4. I posed a picture (or many pictures!) for Mommy (who is crazy about taking photos of me)...

6. I went to Mah-mah's house...



7. And I also spent quality time with Daddy and Mommy back home...
