The 'Bertunang' Ceremony in Ipoh

This is the first engagement ceremony I have attended. It is the engagement of Daddy's cousin brother to a beautiful Malay lady...

On our way to the ceremony, I slept. When we reached the house, I was still sleeping...

When the ceremony was over, I was still asleep.

Alas, I woke up at the hotel at about 11pm to have my milk and went back to sleep... I was really tired and sleepy because of the long journey and cold medication I had. Yes, I still have a running nose...

At the Hotel in Ipoh

We stayed at the Excelsior Hotel. On the outside, it seemed like a very old hotel. But it is actually not bad inside. I like the room. There is a good view from our room...



I like the big bed too...



I also like the bathroom...



... especially the big mirror...




The hotel also provided us with a baby cot (albeit old). Mommy layered it with a duvet she brought from home to make it super-comfy for me... :)




On the whole, Mommy, Daddy and I were quite pleased with the room and were happy...

My Journey to Ipoh

This is my first trip to Ipoh. We went to attend the 'bertunang' (engagement) ceremony of Daddy's cousin brother.

During the journey, I tried to keep myself busy...



However, I was soon bored playing with the same toys...



Really bored...

But thankfully, I could sleep almost throughout the journey. We had a stopover and I tasted donuts for the first time.

I was very happy when we finally reached our hotel...



We were all very happy...

Lately, I like to push myself up like this... on all fours...

Car Seat Night 2

Car Seat Night 1

I still have a cold. Sleeping in the car seat helps me sleep better. So Mommy brought in the car seat for me. I like being rocked to sleep in it, but I feel I need to hold on to the side like this...

The air-condition was not turned on. I perspire easily, even with the fan on. So Mommy didn't put on my long sleeve shirt and long pants for me yet. I look like a boy in this shirt eh? It is not mine. It is Chun-chun's... :)

Comfort in Daddy's Arms

Sometimes I wake up crying for no reason.

Most of the time, I would go back to sleep quietly after Mommy or Daddy gently pat me back to sleep. However, there are times, when I simply can't go back to sleep and wants to be picked up.

Today, I still have a cold and my sleep was disturbed. So I woke up crying and Daddy came to comfort me. He hummed my favourite tune and rocked me back to sleep...

New Clothes

I still like to move backwards... rather than forward. I also like to make a lot of noise. (Daddy thought I called him... hehe...)

Potty Training (1)

It's Mommy's first attempt and I was not cooperative at all. Mommy tried to make it comfortable by putting a cushion behind me. Though I made a really big fuss, I did make a little deposit...

Another Shape Sorter

Mommy took out another shape sorter for me to play with. It is from this set...



At first, I was more interested in the plastic bag that it came in...

I don't know how to play with these... I don't know how to sort the shapes...

Where's the Lizard?

I have seen and enjoy watching the lizards on the wall at Mah-mah's house. Whenever I see one, I will point at it and 'ask' everyone to see it too.

When I am asked, "yim seh leh?" (where's the lizard?), I will point up (or at a wall) like this...



We had a dinner treat from Suk-suk that evening...

My Cousins

At Lily Yee-yee's house, I met my cousin Chloe...

We shook hands...

And she was so nice to let me play with her toys...

Later, I met my cousin Zhong Keat too... who gave me a big hug(s) before we left for a dinner...

Are We There Yet?

Mommy and Daddy took me to visit Lily Yee-yee today. I was excited about meeting my cousins too.



However, the journey there seemed so long...




I got really bored waiting in the car...

Shape Sorter

Mommy bought me a shape sorter/blocks recently...

I don't know how to sort the shapes even after Mommy tried to teach me. I just know how to throw them around...

As you can see, I don't know what to do with all these things...
